Yamaha Banshee Dual Carb Kit

Trinity uses the Keihin 28mm-38mm PWK carbs to feed every last bit of power into your Banshee engine. The kit includes throttle cables and optional manifolds. Outerwear-wrapped K&N filters and a selection of jets are included. Compared to the C.V. system, this dual kit gives up some power on the bottom end for a larger gain on the top. Available in sizes ranging from 28mm to a huge 38mm system.

Yamaha Banshee Cylinder Head Mod

The head mod increases the efficiency of your head and thus your engine. If you look at the bottom of the head, you'll see the squish band, an angled ring around the outside of the combustion chamber. The angle of the squish band, coupled with the cc volume and bowl dimensions, determine how the air/fuel charge is controlled as it enters and exits the engine. Trinity uses specific squish band angle dimensions on a given cc volume, carefully matched to the port design.

Lighter than stock pistons, Pro-lites also have cutouts above the pin to lighten the weight and improve heat rejection and side cutaways to optimize transfer port flow. The upper boost port relieves crankcase pressure to give an extra 2 hp across the rpm band in stock or modified motors. The piston crown is undisturbed for complete combustion and even heat distribution.

With Trinity's Cad-Cam Sure-Flow design, water flows over every millimeter of the cooling system, dissipating heat with an efficient flow as well as increased water volume. With an o-ring head, water flow will enter the head and follow the path of least resistance - in one side & out the other, across the top of the head. Unless the flow is diverted (forced down the cylinders), the head may be cool, but Your cylinders are running way too hot.

Yamaha Banshee Reed Spacers

Trinity's 1/2" or 3/4" reed spacers manipulate intake air so you can adjust how hard the engine kicks when you open the throttle. Different sizes of reed spacers give you the ability to fine tune your quad's powerband to your personal preference. Moving the reed cage further back slightly shifts power toward the bottom end, while leaving it forward and shifting the manifold back will tend to lean towards high RPM.

Two stroke porting is NOT done by trial and error as some tend to believe. It is an Exact Science we have perfected within our 30 years of business. Creating the right combination of pressure, sweep, draw, reversion, and combustion all working together at the exact timing points is definitely a talent that comes with experience and technical know-how. Add to this equation, all of the possible combinations of power bands needed to accommodate different rider weights and riding styles.
